Income Generating Activities (IGA)

At the SKS Resource Centre, we take pride in offering a diverse range of recreational facilities and professional services that are designed to provide our visitors with enjoyable and enriching experiences. Our commitment to providing a welcoming and engaging environment is reflected in the variety of offerings that cater to different interests and preferences.

Fruits and Flower Gardens: The Resource Centre has a large garden with a variety of fruits and flowers. Visitors can enjoy walking through the garden, taking pictures, or simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.

Dairy and poultry farms: The Resource Centre also has a dairy and poultry farm. Visitors can learn about how dairy and poultry products are produced, or they can simply enjoy watching the animals.

Ponds for fishing: The Resource Centre has a pond where visitors can fish. This is a popular activity for both children and adults.

Dumba: Dumba, also known as the 'fat-tailed sheep' in English, has been bred at the SKS Resource Centre. In Gainbandha, we are pioneering this particular type of animal husbandry. Currently, Two Dumbs are born here.
